At one point in time, gods became creators.

2,000 years before our story begins, six of the most powerful gods became tired of the universe they lived in. There was nothing but them. Perfection did get boring after a while. So, they did what any bored god would do. The six of them went about creating something all their own. A world made from the hardships of their powers.

First, the framework was done. The environments and lands were created first. Then, the climates, atmosphere and weather followed. Oceans, ponds, rain, snow, and other resources began to appear. Humans were created, given life, and a will to survive. Death, an inescapable reality, and sickness helped to balance out the perfection of everything. Finally, justice, and the differences between right and wrong were realized in the world. After this, the gods had one more thing to decide on; the name. After much scrutiny and arguments over what it should be, the six gods finally decided. The world would be called Tiesma.

The gods watched over their creations, noticing that the humans began to establish things such as different countries, buildings, and governments. The six were so proud! Things couldn't have been going better. For almost 1,500 years, the gods continued watching over them, making sure nothing harmed their Tiesma. That was when things went wrong.

Limora and Damu, the two major countries of Tiesma, went to war with each other over conflicting beliefs about the gods and their existence. Limora believed in the gods, and that their will was to strictly follow the laws the churches had written on behalf of the gods. Damu, however, didn't believe, and wanted to push forward, to invade the smaller lands outside of their country. Limora tried to intervene, and it resulted in war.

Ashamed, and blaming themselves for the war, the gods killed off almost every human, save a couple thousand out of the billions that used to reside in Tiesma. After the mass death, they sealed themselves in tombs under the ground, in a chamber at the border of the fighting countries. The doors of each tomb were sealed with a special key, the gods resting there, hoping to never awake, feeling like they failed their creation.

500 years passed, and Limora and Damu made peace, though relations remained strained. Then, one fateful day a year ago, the leader of Damu, Raivo, found out about the underground tombs. Searching and finding it, he tried to take possession of the keys, but when he tried, the keys disappeared. Angered and confused about being released, the gods transformed and multiplied into monsters, and spread across Tiesma, terrorizing the civilians.

Reading the ancient stories and legends about the gods and their rest, Raivo found out that the keys were locked into a certain chosen person. When that person went through an extremely emotional event, be it happy or sad, the key would materialize, and would be theirs. Now, Raivo's out to find them, and will stop at nothing to achieve the keys of Tiesma.

And that is where our story begins.
